Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead subordinate successfully into productive working methods by setting and example.
Ensure that correct disciplinary are adhered to especially with regard to correct handling of written warnings and record of the same.
Follow up on disciplinary reports
Front Desk Supervisor must be fully aware of the company standards as discussed and outlined in the Company manual.
Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager all matters relating to the daily operations of the Front Desk.
Deals with all hotel guest requests and complaints, ensuring that the entire Front Desk team is aware of all daily activities, events, arrivals, departure, etc.
Front Desk Supervisor is also responsible for the daily financial operations of the Front Office (Expenses vs. Income).
Check regularly the work of the Front Office Associates and coordinate or provide assistance if necessary.
Ensure Front Office Associates are always courteous and professional at all times. To ensure that the desk is fully aware of all information and are able to assist the guest with all areas of inquiries.
Ensure Front Desk Office personnel maintain uniform and personal hygiene standards.
You will evaluate and appraise your staff after as per the evaluation standards. This appraisal is t be sent to the Human Resources of the company.
Communicate with the Housekeeping or Engineering Department regarding any maintenance requests from the guests.
Checks AM and PM discrepancy reports.
Ensure complete working knowledge of software system (Oasis) including all daily transactions.
Perform all of the front desk functions that include Guest Service, Telephone Operator, Front Desk Clerk, Reservationists, etc.
Assists Front Desk clerks by checking guests in and out of the hotel.
Receives money and credit cards from guests for payment of hotel charges and makes correct change.
Gives directions to hotel facilities, rooms and local area attractions.
Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
Ensures proper staffing levels of Front Desk Associates and Bellmen by preparing weekly schedule and maintaining proper documentation (time Cards, disciplinary procedures, reviews, etc).
Handles special requests, group blocking and unusual circumstances.
Communicates with the Housekeeping Department regarding guest rooms and requests.
Trains all new and provide continues training for old Front Desk Associates.
Facilitate monthly meeting to review performance and discuss existing problems for improvement.
Performs other duties that may be assigned or given by Managers.
Salary: ₱15000 - ₱20000
