WHO WE NEED
We are looking to hire eight (8) full-time Transcription Specialists for our Makati office ASAP. We value accuracy, quality and timeliness as our topmost priorities, and we expect this from everyone who joins our team. Prior experience with general/business/legal transcription projects (or related field) and extensive knowledge of English grammatical rules are a must.
They must be able to 1) transcribe audio/video recordings, 2) edit & proof transcribed content to adhere to company’s varying styles and format, 3) achieve minimum quality scores and weekly production targets. We require a client-ready & error-free file that has been fully transcribed, edited and proofed for accuracy as submissions are given directly to the client.
Our recordings range from 45 to 90 minutes long with varying accents, audio quality, number of speakers, and cover a wide variety of topics. We have projects to be completed daily with varying deadlines with very strict turnaround times with our clients. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who are confident that they are able to submit transcribed files within a eight (8) hours or a given timeline.
Successful candidates will be required to sign an NDA. You are expected to treat all files you receive in confidence and may not be shared or communicated with anybody else outside of the company.
We give a salary, plus allowance and incentives, including paid training/assessment period.

Actual transcription work experience of at least one year.
You must type a minimum 65 words per minute. (A free typing test can be taken at www.typingtest.com).
Have excellent editing & proofreading skills, and an outstanding grasp of grammar and punctuation rules.
Meets the required 98% transcription accuracy.
Above average knowledge and proficiency of MS Word and Excel (including the tools and functions), and must demonstrate strong computer literacy.
Experience with using with FTP, Dropbox, Express Scribe, Google Drive/Docs, Office 360 (OneDrive & OneNote).
Must be able to turnaround/submit a minimum of 60 audio minutes of transcribed content within an 8-hour period. Submit completed jobs on or by the file due date/time.
Work in accordance to established daily & weekly production targets.
Possess responsive and constructive communication, as well as a proactive and positive attitude at all times.
MUST be willing to work with flexible shifts/schedules. (Our business days are from Tuesday to Saturday).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Interested applicants will have to take a time-bounded transcription test. Successful candidates will be required to go through a paid training period for assessment. You are expected to undergo, complete and pass this stage before you are given an offer sheet. Candidates must be willing to begin immediately.
