Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handling imaging servers and deploying OS for both Windows and MAC
  • Software installations and troubleshooting of all types of customer-oriented field problems, network setting for TCP/IP and Internet setup
  • Troubleshooting of all types of hardware and software applications problems
  • Configuring and troubleshooting of desktop/laptops for L1, L2, and L3 levels and managing backup and recovery
  • Configuring and troubleshooting of printer, scanner, and LAN related issues reported by users
  • Installation and configuring of wireless Data Cards in users’ laptops
  • Handling of Active Directory user creation & deletion
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of connectivity problems using Ping, Trace route
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking problems
  • User group policies creation and modification
  • Monitoring of virus issues through Symantec Endpoint Protection antivirus
  • Configuring and troubleshooting of MS Outlook 2007/10/13 or Outlook Express
  • Remotely resolving application problems and network problems and mail configurations through net meeting, remote desktop sharing
  • Resolving tickets within the SLA which is raised from end user side
  • Maintaining assets through Asset Management Tools
  • Design and integrate specifications for systems
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Recommend new processes and procedures, equipment and software
  • Act as a senior resource for other System Engineers and for the team
  • Communicate and interact with the other team members or colleagues to ensure coordination and cross-training
  • MAC OS troubleshooting
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

 



Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in L2 – IT Desktop Support and Asset Management

  • Extensive experience with Operating Systems support including but not limited to Windows 7, 8, 10, and Windows native applications

  • Knowledge and experience with end-user devices and computer peripherals troubleshooting (input device like mouse and keyboard, output devices like monitors and projectors, docking stations, printers etc.)

  • Experienced in supporting MAC hard and software

  • Knowledge and experience in Network performance, data/connectivity degradation, system events and alerts (Telco, ISP) and extensive knowledge in Networking Principles (LAN/WAN, OSI Layer, TCP/IP and other networking protocols)

  • Excellent customer handling skills with end-users

  • Amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa City on a night shift
