The Instructional Designer will build scalable learning experiences that develop teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will be creative and tech savvy with experience working across multiple instructional delivery modalities with expert level digital design skills. The Instructional Designer will create and continuously improve learning experiences using an array of approaches that engage learners and drive high-impact learning. 

You will be responsible for developing high-quality training content in multiple formats such as interactive eLearning, videos, instructor-led content, virtual classroom design, tool kits, job aids, infographics, study guides and simulations. The role requires an individual who can innovate, move quickly, and not be constrained by how things have been done before. The role also requires deep collaboration with SMEs including senior-level leaders across multiple disciplines/functional roles.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The candidate should be an adult learning expert who is creative, analytical, and customer-focused with solid writing skills. 

Primary Responsibility:

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in instructional, digital design and learning content development
• Hands-on experience of 4+ years with online learning including tools such as Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Lectora, SnagIT, and others
• Hands-on experience of making videos using any of these tools – Camtasia, VideoScribe, Powtoon, etc.
• Proven experience with designing and developing online learning solutions, both synchronous and asynchronous
• Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good knowledge of basic ID principles such as ADDIE, Bloom’s taxonomy, Adult Learning Principles, Gagne’s 9 events etc.
• Awareness of LMS and LCMS standards
• Awareness of gamification frameworks
• Ability to design curriculum
• Ability to design or develop serious games (game-based quizzes)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and fact-based decision-making abilities
