Controls Engineer

Hello

I am a controls engineer at a company and would like to subcontract a Controls Engineer to do some of my projects

The scope of work will vary depending on the project.  Specific instructions will be provided with a dead line and expected results based on the needs.  Sometimes as a contractor you will need to work in conjunction with me directly or others.  Other times the task will be to help me learn/understand something I don’t know.  Confidentiality and non-compete agreement will be needed for all projects.  Payments will be made in US dollars via Paypal according to the project the last day of the month.

Your location doesn’t matter as long you are available when needed.

Here are some of the qualifications:

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Experience in:

o   PLC programming

§  Allen Bradley

§  Omron

o   PLC upgrades

o   HMI/SCADA

§  Allen Bradley

• Factory Talk View
• Asset Centre

§  Wonderware

• Intouch
• System Platform
• Historian
• Information Server

o   Database

§  SQL

o   Cognex Vision systems

o   Autocad

• Experience in the following industries:

o   Food and Beverage

§  Packaging

§  Processing

o   Wastewater plants

o   Utilities

• Need to be available at least 8am – 12pm EST via chat, email or GotoMyPC
• High speed internet and Google account
• Need references from other employers or customers
• Need proof of jobs done with success rate
