Due to the continuing growth of our operations, we are currently looking for a highly skilled individual to join our Sales and Marketing team in Makati. This person will assume the role of an:
Account Executive
(for Makati Sales Office)
Job Summary:
Responsible for building, maintaining, and retaining corporate relationships with business entities which may prove profitable to the company. Along with building a good relationship with potential clients, he/she will also be responsible in executing sales strategies and promoting the facilities and services of Montemar Beach Club to meet or exceed the established annual sales quota.
Responsibilities:
Solicit room and banquet bookings from existing and new accounts by conducting sales calls in assigned areas.
Secure new accounts for additional business
Prepare and submit the following:
Daily Basis:
• Sales call status
• Expense reports
Weekly Basis:
• Sales call itinerary plan
• Actual sales activity
• Booking status reports
Monthly Basis:
• Productivity and loss business reports
Plan for the assigned sales activities. Prepare and submit necessary memos for approval and required post-mortem reports.
Recommend action plan for areas of improvement via quarterly analysis report
Participate in planning and implementing sales programs and activities
Provide the sales assistant updated client/account information such as business potentials, contact person, address, telephone/fax, birthdays, e-mail address and mobile numbers for database management
Ensure the accuracy of proposal and contract details
Promote cooperation with resort’s personnel in order to deliver prompt and efficient service to all our client/customer
Regularly provide relevant information/data from competitors
Handle ocular visits and entertain selected and sensitive accounts (as necessary) with the approval from the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Attend sales meeting and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors/College Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration, Tourism, Communication, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent.
At least 2 years significant work experience specializing in Sales and Marketing for hotel/resort industry.
At least 1 year experience in field sales calls.
Willing to be assigned in Makati City.
Willing to be on-site (Bagac, Bataan) as needed.
