Software Test Engineer (QC Tester)

Responsibilities:
* Conduct requirement analysis and QA testing on system applications.
* Understand and analyze requirement and translate them to complete and clear test cases and test scripts.
* Provide accurate estimates of his/her tasks and the entire project.
* Handle/facilitate pre-test preparations (i.e. ensures test environment is ready, test tools are available, test data, etc.)
* Develop test strategy/plan; create test cases, test result analysis and recommendation.
* Participate in the validation and qualification of system applications (manual, automated. Regression & performance testing, and the like)
* Work with development and other software test team members to evaluate solution functionality while recommending improvements.
* Test software conforming to established process and standards to ensure agreed business requirements and designs are met.
* Write, update and execute test cases during testing.
* Identify, document and monitor status of software defects during testing.
* Tutor/train other testers on an area on product knowledge.

Requirements:
* Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related/non-related fields with equivalent experience.
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Highly organized with keen attention on details and quality conscious.
* Experience in applications developed in: UNIX & Windows systems; Java; Oracle/SQL Server DBMS
* Able to work on multiple projects;
* In-depth experience in conducting manual testing.
* Must display ability to work with teams and different culture;
* Must display ability to lear in a short time and work under pressure;
* Must be versatile, flexible, proactive, analytical, disciplined and self-motivated.
* Can communicate in English both written and oral.
