• Assists the Internal Audit Group Head develop the annual IS Audit Program.
• Schedules personnel to perform specific assignments by reviewing their experience and developmental training they need as well as the experience required by the assigned task.
• Reviews the staff’s more complex audit program (before the audit) to ensure that assignments are performed according to established procedures and that adequate coverage is provided.
• Reviews working papers, comment sheets, and audit reports prepared by IS Auditors to ensure that adequate documentation supports the completed work and judges whether recommendation to improve the business, processes, and controls are effective and reasonable.
• Discusses audit comments and recommendations with the business manager/system owner of the IS entity being audited before issuing report.
• Audit complex installations and highly confidential matters as needed and performs special investigations for management.
• Presents audit or investigation results and explains suggested recommendation to executive management.
• Assists Branch and Head Office Auditors in IS oriented aspect of their audits.
• Represents the bank in working group of Megalink known as Internal Audit Working Group (IAWG) that is responsible for ensuring consistent application of the consortium’s control practices as well as established procedures related to new products and maintenance of automated business support processes.
